The following list of animal welfare associations in Hong Kong has been listed in alphabetic order.

Animals Asia Foundation
Animals Asia is devoted to ending the barbaric practice of bear bile farming and improving the welfare of animals in China and Vietnam. We promote compassion and respect for all animals and work to bring about long-term change.

AAPN - Animals Asia Protection Network
AAPN - Asian Animal Protection Network aims to develop intra-regional co-operation and provide an entry point for enquiries from other regions. It is a loose, cost-effective network for exchanging information and ideas and general mutual support.

CAF - Companion Animal Federation
Companion Animal Federation was founded in 2002 to promote kindness, prevent and suppress cruelty to animals and to suppress abuse to companion animals. It is the first animal welfare charity in Hong Kong that begins to treat abandoned animals suffering from skin disease with ozone application since 2006.

Hong Kong Alley Cat Watch
Hong Kong Alley Cat Watch was set up as a Society in 2003 by Marian Banaghan who has been on the Mid Levels street cat circuit since 1997, and Michelle Temple who has been an avid cat lover all her life. More recently Michelle is foster mum to a majority of the rescued street orphans many of which have been successfully homed by HK Alley Cats Watch.

Hong Kong Cats Salvation
Starting from an internet homepage for rescuing and rehoming homeless cats and kittens in December 1997, the Hong Kong Cat Salvation Army (HKCSA) is set up by a group of enthusiastic cat fanciers who would like to share their concern towards and to work for the welfare of the stray, abandoned and abused cats.

Hong Kong Dog Rescue
HKDR was founded in 2003 for the specific purpose of saving dogs and puppies from the Hong Kong Government's Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) Animal Management Centres, where around 10,000 dogs and puppies are destroyed every year.

Lamma Animal Welfare Centre
Lamma is a beautiful place for us humans to live - and, for some of the other animals, life is good also. But some animals live pretty awful lives which not only makes them miserable but forces them to become a trouble to the community. Each one of them needs to be found a good home.

LAP - Lifelong Animal Protection Charity

SAA - Society for Abandoned Animals
SAA was established on June 4, 1997 by a group of animal rights' activist. The motto of SAA is "Love Animal, Respect Life, No Killing or Abandoning". It was officially registered as a local charitable organization on May 28, 1998. After many years of endeavour, SAA has now become the biggest animal sanctuary in Hong Kong.

SPCA - Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Hong Kong)
Pet adoption: adopt a homeless pet (dog or cat) or pets from animal shelters. SPCA has helped with millions pet adoptions since 1903.
